This is day number 70 and you're 10 weeks pregnant! You have 210 days or 30 weeks left, and are 25.0% of the way there. Baby's age since conception is 57 days or 8 weeks. You are due on 11/24/2006.
Baby Development(My baby according to Pregnancy Weekly)Your baby is somewhere between 1 and 1-1/2 inches in length and probably weighs about 4 grams (or as much as 4 paper clips). He or she has lips, toes, eyes that are usually open, ears that are completely formed, and the genitals are becoming more clearly defined. The little pollywog you have inside has lost its "tail" and this week marks the end of the embryonic stage and the beginning of the fetal stage!
My waistline is beginning to disappear and Im having difficult time choosing the right clothing at this stage of my pregnancy. I am not accustomed of wearing loose shirts and blouses, but right now, I feel much better on wearing clothes that doesn't show much of my stomach sticking out. And everytime I eat, my belly becomes big balloon at an instant.
Two days ago, I had my worst vomitting so far. I suspected it was from the food that I ate at dinner which were greasy and fatty.
On same day, I also received a follow up email from Storknetdotcom making sure that I have received the instructions they sent on April 15th to get started on writing for their real time pregnancy journal. (more…)
9th Week: Feeling Pregnant April 20, 2006

Im starting to feel really pregnant this week. Despite being exhausted, there are times that Im having trouble sleeping. I've read that avoiding drinking fluids right before bed, will make less likely frequent trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
I'm also beginning to think of buying new maternity clothes as my regular jeans began to tightened my belly which could stir up my nausea. The weather is just perfect for me right now, and luckily by the end of November, the air will again be breezy and cold for winter which is again perfect for me compared to Summer here in the US.
8th Week: Fatigue, Appetite, Smells and Pimples April 13, 2006

There are only 32 weeks to go! I feel a little off now as my body begun adjusting to my baby growing inside of me. The fatigue and increased appetite are among the first sensations I noticed during this week. I'm starting to eat more, but trying to eat better. I'm taking my prenatal vitamins everyday and Im still thinking what other supplement should I add to my diet. Now that I'm in my second month of pregnancy, I find myself a little more nauseous, and a lot hungrier for weird combinations of food. I'm starting to watch my weight too as my baby grows, I will definitely gain too!
The smell of cooking oil, the aroma of frying onions, unusual scents and odors keep me away from cooking. I once tried cooking Fried Chicken and what resulted was a salty charfried chicken, the only way you can eat is pulling off its skin. Then I cooked Sinigang na Bangus, that not even tasted good, I wonder where my talents in cooking went. So after that, we just decided to take our dinner outside or any meal for that matter.
Also during this time, I feel a little bit old, I feel like HS student constantly worrying and washing to combat pimples. I know its not yet worst and hoping it won't get worst, but the only thing that I could apply on my face is the facial cleanser soap that is just recommended for pregnant moms to use, other than that is prohibited including hair spa and colourings, foot spa and others which is obviously disgusting. 7th Week: Tips for Treats April 6, 2006

There are ways I find useful in alleviating the discomfort I experience during this first trimester. Fortunately, I am few of those pregnant women who haven't been experiencing worst morning sickness yet at this early stage which is extremely the opposite when I had my first baby.
During one dinner at Banana Leaf, I already felt that the foods that are about to be served are gonna be repulsived to my taste. Though I love spice and mixtures of flavors, specifically Thai Foods, that time wasn't just the same. After dinner, I felt that Im gonna throw up and for the first time, I did! thankfully, we're back home.
Perhaps, my dinner at Banana Leaf is a warning signal that there are really foods that causes nausea and vomiting. From thenon, I try to avoid fried, fatty or greasy foods. I also hate seasoned foods such as Mexican and Italian dishes. I also find some rich foods, such as pies, cakes, and some pastries that can also cause problems.
To start the day, I keep Oreo and water by my bedside. Yes, Oreo, my all time fave. I try to have a nibble before getting out of bed.
I still have tender breasts and sooner, I need to look for a larger cup as my pregnancy advances. I still find myself making very frequent trips to the bathroom.

This was the result of Transvaginal Ultrasound I had yesterday. The picture shows my uterus, at the middle of it (black) is the gestational sac, the embryo on the upper left corner and underneath are the size of the baby which is .67 cm, currently at 6 wks and 5 days today and my due date as it says is Nov. 24, 2006.
How does it feel that finally I had my first prenatal visit? I am Very Happy. For the first time in this period of my pregnancy, I saw his/her heartbeat flickering on the screen. (more…)
